If your pet has a hard time with road sickness, for instance, you'll need to be ready to spot the signs and respond. Here are some signs to look for:

  • The dog will have strings of saliva from their lips.
  • Your dog is behaving unusually restless.
  • Some dogs react by hanging their heads and looking troubled.
  • Some may pace or pant excessively.

If you're concerned that your dog is getting road sick, find a place to pull over and give them a chance to walk around and get some fresh air. You could also see your vet before your trip, to see if you could get a prescription to help your dog.

A pet-friendly car could also help. Contact our sales team in West Monroe, LA to see what we have available.
